About Me
I’m driven by curiosity — especially about how complex systems come together and why they work. Whether writing software or shaping a creative composition, I’m motivated by the process of exploring ideas, understanding their structure, and bringing them into form through craft and intention.
Professionally, I’m a Senior Software Engineer in the telecommunications space, building fast, reliable, and scalable systems powered by event streaming, in-memory data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and the databases that support them. I value thoughtful architecture, clean design, and solutions that respect the people who depend on them.
Outside of engineering, I’m drawn to storytelling, the beauty of nature, and the quiet adventure found off the well-traveled path. Creativity connects my work in software, photography, and art — a way of observing the world and shaping something meaningful from what I find.
I live in Portland, Oregon with my cat, Naps, and often spend my free time paddling the rivers nearby.
